Websites and web applications
A website that answers the customer's questions before they reach for WhatsApp.
I design and build business websites, online stores and web applications that load quickly on a phone, explain what you do in plain language and make the next step obvious. You talk to the person writing the code, from the first video call to launch day and after.
Custom website development means a site built for your business in code (I use Next.js, React and TypeScript) rather than a stretched template. I build business websites, online stores and portals for UAE companies, working remotely with hours scheduled around GST, and every build is ready for Arabic and English. You get a written scope, a private preview link throughout, and the finished site in accounts you own.

Who this is for
- UAE businesses whose current site is slow on mobile or brings in few enquiries
- New companies that need a credible site quickly, without paying for a bloated theme
- Retailers whose online store has outgrown its template and needs a clearer path to checkout
- Teams that need a client portal, booking flow, quote builder or internal dashboard
- Agencies that need a dependable developer behind their own client work
Problems this solves
- Most visitors arrive on a phone, and the site is slow to open.
- I build server-rendered pages, size images and fonts properly and keep third-party scripts in check, then measure speed on a mid-range phone before launch instead of guessing.
- People visit, then message a competitor instead.
- Each page gets one job and a clear next step. Enquiry forms ask only what you need, and a 'Message on WhatsApp' button with a pre-filled message sits where people expect it.
- Adding Arabic later would mean rebuilding.
- Every build uses layout rules that flip cleanly to right-to-left, so an Arabic version can be added without starting again. If you need both languages at launch, see the bilingual websites service.
- Leads, bookings and quotes live in different inboxes.
- A small web application or integration can send form enquiries to your CRM, confirm bookings by email and keep a record of every lead, so nothing depends on one person's phone.
What’s included
- Structure and content plan
- Which pages you need, what each one is for and the questions customers ask before they buy. Page topics are matched to what people in the UAE actually search, so SEO starts here.
- Design in your brand
- Mobile-first designs built around your real content and photography, approved by you before development starts.
- Custom development
- Next.js, React and TypeScript, or Angular for larger applications. Accessible markup and clean code another developer could pick up.
- Online stores
- Catalogues, filters, cart and checkout, with prices in AED. Checkout can connect to payment options available in the UAE such as Stripe, Network International N-Genius, PayTabs, and Tabby or Tamara instalments. Each provider approves your business itself.
- Enquiry and booking flows
- Short forms with a clear consent checkbox, WhatsApp click-to-chat links, booking widgets and quote requests, each tracked so you can see which pages bring enquiries.
- Launch done properly
- Redirects from old URLs, analytics, Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, speed and accessibility checks, and a walkthrough of how to manage the site.
How it works
1Video call
We talk through your business, your customers and what the site must do. No charge and no obligation.
2Scope and quote
A written scope with pages, features, languages, timeline and an AED price, before any work starts.
3Design
Key pages are designed first so you can approve the direction while changes are cheap.
4Build and review
I build on a private preview link that you and your team can check on your own devices.
5Launch and handover
Go-live in your accounts, redirects and tracking in place, and a written handover.

Questions UAE business owners ask
How long does a website take?
It depends on the number of pages, whether content is ready and whether there are custom features. A focused business site usually takes weeks rather than months; a web application depends on scope. The timeline is in the written quote, with buffer for Ramadan and Eid where they fall.
Do you use templates or page builders?
Most of my builds are custom Next.js sites. That keeps them fast and avoids paying for features you don't use. If a hosted platform suits your budget better, I'll say so.
Can I update the site myself?
Yes, where you need to. We agree which parts you edit (team, listings, blog posts, products) and I set up editing tools to match.
Who owns the website?
You do. The domain, hosting and code repository are set up in your name, or in accounts you already have.
Can you work with our designer or agency?
Yes. I can build from another designer's files, or work as the developer behind an agency.
Your business could be the next tile in the wall.
This space is kept for the next project.
Tell me what you need
Send a few lines about your business and the project. I'll reply with questions or a time for a video call. Prefer messaging? WhatsApp works too.
