Website maintenance and support

Launch day is the start, not the finish.

Websites need looking after: security patches, expired listings, broken links, new offers, and the small fixes that add up. A maintenance plan gives you one developer who knows your site and responds when something needs changing.

Website maintenance is the ongoing work that keeps a site secure, fast and up to date after launch: software updates, off-server backups, uptime monitoring and small content changes. I provide it remotely for UAE business websites, with response times agreed in writing and scheduled around UAE business hours (GST, UTC+4). Redesigns and major new features are quoted separately.

Who this is for

Problems this solves

Nobody is responsible for the website.
You get one named person who knows how the site works and keeps it updated, backed up and monitored.
Small changes take weeks.
A monthly allowance for content and design changes means updates happen without a new project each time.
Out-of-date content is costing trust.
Expired offers, sold units and old prices are flagged in regular checks, so the site says what is true today.

What’s included

Updates and security
Framework and dependency updates applied and tested, with security patches first.
Off-server backups
Backups stored away from the hosting account, and a tested way to restore them.
Uptime and error monitoring
Alerts when the site or a key form stops working, so problems are noticed before customers mention them.
Content and small changes
A monthly allowance for edits, new pages, offer banners and small features, in English and Arabic where your site has both.
Speed and search checks
A regular look at page speed, Search Console and Bing issues and broken links, with fixes made.

How it works

  1. 1Health check

I review the site, hosting and access so I know exactly what I'm looking after.

  2. 2Agree the plan

What is covered each month, response windows in GST, and how you request changes.

  3. 3Monthly care

Updates, checks and your requested changes, with a short written summary.

Questions UAE business owners ask

Can you maintain a site you didn't build?

Usually, yes. I start with a health check to understand how it was built and flag anything risky before taking it on.

What isn't included?

Redesigns, new sections and major features are scoped and quoted separately, so the monthly plan stays predictable.

What happens if the site goes down?

Monitoring alerts me and I work to restore it. We agree response windows in GST up front, so you know what to expect.

Is there a lock-in contract?

Terms are agreed with you in writing. You keep ownership of your site, hosting and accounts either way.

Your business could be the next tile in the wall.

This space is kept for the next project.
